Flammable and recyclable waste as well as special waste and construction waste from households can be disposed of at the Kreuzlingen Regional Waste Disposal Centre RAZ at Maurerstrasse 3. The centre is operated by the company TIT Imhof AG on behalf of the association Kehrichtverwertung Thurgau.

KUH bags are available at Coop, Landi, Denner, Aldi and at the RAZ. All discarded food packaging, shampoo bottles, plastic flower pots, plastic buckets and also Tetra-Paks can be collected in the KUH bags. The full KUH bag can be disposed of at the Regional Waste Disposal Centre RAZ on Maurerstrasse 3 or from Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the container at the Bärenplatz, Akazienweg and Pauli / Blaues Haus collection points. Users are requested to close the door when leaving the respective container.

Small bulky items

The collections always take place on the first Tuesday of the month. Small bulky items (e.g. chairs, bedside tables, rolled mattresses etc.) must be placed in a clearly visible position on the street by 08:00 in the morning of the collection day. One small bulky item sticker must be affixed per item. The stickers can be obtained at the Information Desk (City Hall, Hauptstrasse 62).

Animal carcasses

Dead small animals can be handed in without foreign matter (collars, plastic bags etc.) at the carcass collection point at the Regional Waste Disposal Centre RAZ Kreuzlingen at Maurerstrasse 3. Under no circumstances should they be buried in the forest, thrown into bodies of water or taken to the rubbish collection point.
